CyclEx-VR virtual reality indoor cycling program
 Fitness Plus is now offering the unique indoor cycling workout, CyclEx-VR.
A full-motion, virtual reality indoor cycling class.
CyclEx-VR utilises stunning 3D computer-generated backgrounds, projected onto a large screen, with full-motion animations taking the rider through a virtual landscape of urban areas, countryside and even deserts.
What makes this program really unique is the full instruction provided on-screen by a top indoor-cycling instructor, superimposed onto the background. This on-screen instructor coaches the rider through bike set-up, safety points and riding positions throughout the class along with on-screen text. Just like regular indoor cycling classes the rider is guided through a variety of riding positions and tempos which follow the virtual terrain, all accompanied to a pumping soundtrack!
This exiting new development allows club owners to maximise the use of their studio cycles, with virtual classes running up to every hour. This can be used to complement regular indoor cycling classes outside class times or as a stand alone program in gym areas (with audio received through wireless headphone sets)
